Recent publications can be found at my NIST page.

I am a Computer Scientist in the High Performance Computing and Visualization Group of the Applied and Computational Mathematics Division of the Information Technology Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

I am also a Ph.D. Candidate in the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I am a member of the VANGOGH Research Lab and my advisor is Dr. Marc Olano.

My research interests are in exploring how continuing advances in graphics hardware can be exploited to solve new and existing problems in offline and real-time computer graphics. I am currently researching variable bit rate texture compression, real-time decompression, and objective color image quality assessment.
